New .HSC sets available for Sonar 8. We have now created .HSC sets for the following plug-ins:
Note: We need to see if we can make the metres accessible in the Tube Leveler and also, need to add the phase buttons to Channel tools. In the mean time, you can:Download the Channel Tools, TL64_TubeLeveler And TS64_TransientShaper.HSC sets (9.23kb).
Phil has written help files for all of the Sonar 6 .hsc sets on this page including the RXP set. The custom help for each of the sets, can be accessed with the .HSC keystroke, .hsc mods double H. HSC mods, is the Control Alt Key. In other words, if you aren't using the HSC mods key then, the whole keystroke would be, Control Alt Shift H, pressed twice quickly. The .HSC sets on this page that have help written for them, have been repackaged into .zip files. You can download the individual .zip files or, all of the sets for Sonar 6 further down this page.
The HSC sets on this page, have taken hundreds of Hours to create.

The following .HSC sets have been repackaged into .zip files and have help written for them:
If you have the X Ray feature enabled in Sonar 6.2.1 and beyond then, the Sonitus Suite.HSC sets will fail, as the sets in question, use colour recognition to recognize the states of various buttons. Note: X Ray, is enabled by default in versions of Sonar from 6.2.1 and beyond. We recommend that all users, disable the X Ray feature, as it is of no use to us. You will find X Ray on the first tab, in Sonar 6/7 in global options.
Various buttons have been relabelled in the Sonatus plug-ins. This is to help users, locate buttons in the various Sonatus HSC sets. For example, the Sonatus_fx Compressor bypass button was simply called "Bypass." It is now called, "Compressor Bypass." Thanks to Sean Cummins for pointing this out.
When using the MIDI channels in VSampler, it is necessary, to be in the compact view.
The graphics for DR-008, will be visible in the stand-alone version of DR-008, if you place them in the following directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\8.0\Settings\enu
That is, if your using Jaws 8. If you want the graphics in DR-008 to be visible in Sonar then, add these graphics, to your Sonar.jgf file.
Some of the buttons are not currently working properly in the Perfect Space set. We plan to address this as soon as possible.
When using the Linear EQ set, Double clicking the button will open an edit field where you can type in values. This is true for all buttons except for the output gain. Double clicking on this button won't open an edit field. I suggest that you lock the mouse in order to change values on this slider. Currently, using the EQ graph in order to add a point in the Linear EQ, will add the frequency at the bottom or at a set point, part way along the graph. This isn't a big deal really but it's good to be aware of this. The keystrokes, control 1 through 3 will read off the current values on screen for the frequency, Q and Gain. Control 4 through 6 will double click and open the fields for typing in direct parameters for the frequency, Q and Gain. You can move between control points in the Linear EQ with the Sonar keyboard shortcuts, tab and shift tab.
If you install the Sonar 7.01 patch then, you will be able to use arrow keys and page up/down on sliders and buttons. Thank you Cakewalk for adding these new Keystrokes in the 7.01 patch! This makes a huge difference to us! I would encourage you all to go to:the Cakewalk Website
and log into the Cakewalk Forum and thank the developers for this. Or, you could call or E-mail Cakewalk support and tell them how much the new keyboard support in the Linear plug-ins in the 7.01 patch means to you. Naturally, I have updated the tutor messages in the Linear plug-ins to reflect the new situation.
The delete key which is a Sonar keyboard shortcut, can be used to delete control points. The EQ graph button can be used to focus you on to the EQ graph. You can then single click in order to bring focus to a control point or, double click to add a new one. I know that the double click feature works well however, I don't know if the single click feature will be accessible for us.
Finally, Phil won't be working on HSC sets for a while as he really does need to get back to work. Talking of which, feel free toCheckout Phil's Web Site
